I'm guilty 看起来也能表示认错，但 guilty 涉及真正的过错，可能是法律责任，也可能是良心上的愧疚。误拿别人的笔，只需轻轻道个歉：my bad 或 my mistake。修改只替换了 I'm guilty。
My bad 通常独立作为简短回应。口语中也能听到 That's my bad，但要在较长的句子里明确说明是谁的责任，用 fault 更自然：It was my fault that we were late。说别人的责任也用 fault：It's his fault, not yours。
