询问某事进展时，这里的语序是 How is，接着写所问的事情 your new job，最后是 going。把 going 直接放在 is 后面不符合这个结构。不说出具体事项时，简短问题就是 How's it going?
How are you? 适用范围更广。How's it going? 更放松，常用于关系平等、相处随意的人之间。对老师或新客户，采用中性表达更稳妥：Good morning, Dr Evans, how are you?
