Familiar किसी जानी हुई या आसानी से पहचानी जाने वाली चीज़ को बताता है: a familiar face. Be familiar with something का अर्थ उसे अच्छी तरह जानना है। Too familiar किसी के साथ ज़रूरत से ज़्यादा अनौपचारिक या घनिष्ठ व्यवहार भी बता सकता है।
