Gotta 是 have got to 的口语形式，相当于 have to 或 must。I gotta go 表示“我现在得走了”。语速快时，have 常被省略，所以既会听到或看到 I've gotta，也会看到 I gotta。朋友间交谈和发消息可以用；给经理、老师写消息或写作文时，用 I have to 或 I need to 更合适。
