IELTS में कला और संस्कृति पर उत्तर देने के लिए नीचे 28 collocations हैं। पहले एक ज़रूरी अंतर समझें: कला, साहित्य और संगीत की अच्छी समझ वाला व्यक्ति cultured हो सकता है। विनम्र व्यवहार कहना हो तो polite या well-mannered अधिक सटीक है। Cultural किसी चीज़ का संस्कृति से संबंध बताता है, जैसे cultural heritage और cultural events।
Writing Task 2 में पूछा जा सकता है कि अस्पतालों में पैसे की कमी रहते संग्रहालयों और थिएटरों पर सार्वजनिक धन खर्च होना चाहिए या नहीं, युवाओं की रुचि घटने पर पुरानी परंपराएँ बचाना उचित है या नहीं, या स्कूल में गणित के साथ संगीत और कला पढ़ानी चाहिए या नहीं। Speaking Part 2 में किसी किताब, फ़िल्म, संग्रहालय या उत्सव का वर्णन आ सकता है। Part 3 में कला की सामाजिक भूमिका और पारंपरिक शिल्पों के भविष्य पर बात करनी पड़ सकती है।
परिचित शब्दों का सटीक चयन यहाँ बहुत काम आता है; Lexical Resource में इसी सटीकता को परखा जाता है। Classical music संगीत की परंपरा या विधा बताता है; केवल classic जोड़ने से वही अर्थ नहीं बनता। आगे तालिकाओं के साथ ऐसी गलतियों के कारण और LetsWords में वाक्य की जाँच का उदाहरण है।

1. Cultural या cultured

Cultural संस्कृति से संबंधित चीज़ों के लिए है: cultural differences, a cultural centre। कला और संस्कृति की अच्छी समझ वाले व्यक्ति को cultured कहते हैं। बहुत पढ़ने वाले व्यक्ति के लिए well-read भी उपयोगी है। केवल अच्छा व्यवहार कहना हो तो polite या well-mannered चुनें।
2. Interesting या interested
I am very interesting in contemporary art.
सही: I am very interested in contemporary art.
Interesting रुचि पैदा करने वाली चीज़ या व्यक्ति का गुण है: an interesting exhibition। जिसे रुचि है, वह interested है, और विषय in से जुड़ता है। I am interesting बोलने पर आप खुद को रोचक बता रहे हैं।
3. Classic या classical
I rarely listen to classic music.
सही, जब संगीत की विधा बतानी हो: I rarely listen to classical music.
Classical कला की औपचारिक परंपरा के लिए आता है: classical music, classical ballet। Classic किसी उत्कृष्ट, समय की कसौटी पर टिके या बहुत परिचित उदाहरण को बता सकता है: a classic film, a classic mistake। पसंदीदा संगीत पर Speaking उत्तर में आशय के अनुसार शब्द चुनना ज़रूरी है।
4. संगीत-कार्यक्रम में जाना
Last month I visited a concert of a famous pianist.
सही: Last month I went to a concert by a famous pianist.
जगह या व्यक्ति से मिलने के लिए visit सामान्य है: visit a museum, visit an exhibition, visit my aunt। संगीत-कार्यक्रम, नाटक या उत्सव में शामिल होने के लिए go to अधिक स्वाभाविक है; औपचारिक लेखन में attend भी चुन सकते हैं। इस उदाहरण में कलाकार द्वारा दी गई प्रस्तुति a concert by है।
LetsWords में वाक्य की जाँच
तालिका में शब्द का अर्थ पहचान लेने के बाद भी लिखते समय गलत रूप आ सकता है। LetsWords में अपनी मातृभाषा में अर्थ का संकेत देखकर अभिव्यक्ति याद करनी और उससे वाक्य बनाना होता है।
मान लें, अभ्यास में preserve traditions आया। संस्कृति पर लिखते हैं:

प्रतिक्रिया दो सुधार बताती है:
- culture heritage → cultural heritage: स्थापित मेल विशेषण के साथ है, इसलिए cultural चाहिए।
- it is → they are part of: बात कई परंपराओं की है, इसलिए they। साथ में यह स्पष्ट होता है कि परंपराएँ सांस्कृतिक विरासत का हिस्सा हैं।
एक अधिक सटीक विकल्प भी सुझाया गया है: save → preserve। परंपराएँ जीवित रखने के लिए preserve traditions अच्छा मेल है।
Young people must preserve traditions, because they are part of our cultural heritage.
कुछ दिन बाद वही अभिव्यक्ति दोहराव में लौटती है। तब उत्सव पर Speaking उत्तर जैसे नए संदर्भ में इस्तेमाल करें। इस तरह पढ़कर पहचाना हुआ शब्द याद से सही वाक्य में रखने का अभ्यास बनता है।
शब्दों के सही रूप और मेल का अभ्यास करें
पंजीकरण पर IELTS और स्तर चुनें। अभ्यास उसी के अनुसार मिलेगा और भुगतान से पहले प्रतिक्रिया देख सकते हैं।
Writing Task 2 में इस्तेमाल
परीक्षा जैसा सवाल:
Some people think that public money should not be spent on the arts, such as museums, theatres and galleries, because there are more urgent needs. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
लेखक का रुख स्पष्ट करने वाला अनुच्छेद:
Admittedly, hospitals and schools must come first, but cutting public funding for the arts entirely would be short-sighted. Museums and theatres do more than entertain: they preserve cultural heritage that would otherwise be lost and give communities a sense of identity. Without subsidies, ticket prices would rise sharply, and art would become an elitist pleasure for those who can afford it. In my country, several state museums offer free admission on certain days, and those days attract families who would never pay full price. Moreover, the creative industries employ large numbers of people, so supporting culture is also an economic decision. A modest arts budget therefore enriches people’s lives at a relatively small cost.
तर्क का क्रम। Admittedly के साथ दूसरी ओर की प्राथमिकता स्वीकार की गई है और फिर लेखक उसका उत्तर देता है। इससे रुख संतुलित दिखता है। आगे सांस्कृतिक, सामाजिक और आर्थिक कारण आते हैं; उनके साथ व्याख्या या उदाहरण भी है।
Collocations बात को सटीक बनाते हैं। हर जगह art दोहराने के बजाय संदर्भ के अनुसार the arts, culture और arts budget हैं। अंतिम वाक्य therefore से निष्कर्ष निकालता है और सवाल में दिए सार्वजनिक धन के मुद्दे पर लौटता है।
Speaking का उदाहरण
Part 3 का सवाल: Do you think traditional crafts will survive in the future?
Some will, but many are at risk of dying out, because young people don’t see them as a real career. These skills used to be handed down from generation to generation within families, and that chain is breaking. That said, social media has given some crafts a second life. And if schools included them in arts education, I think they’d have a much better chance.
