Point atやpoint toには前置詞がありますが、point outは対象を直接続けます。ここではonを加える必要がないので、そのonだけを除いています。
Point atは、He pointed at the map.のように指や身振りで示すことです。Point outは、He pointed out that the map was old.のように事実や細部を取り上げることです。伝える相手を加えるならtoを使い、She pointed it out to me.とします。
